Ivan Dorn was born in Chelyabinsk on October 17, 1988 in the family of atomic scientist Alexander Eremin and Lydia Dorn. When the boy was 2 years old, the family moved to Ukrainian Slavutich: there the head of the family was offered a job at a nuclear power plant. After another 2 years, a replenishment happened in the family: my mother gave birth to Vanya's brother, who was named Pavel. And, of course, Ivan Dorn ended up in a music school, where he studied vocals and studied piano. It is noteworthy that the future star of the pop scene did not plan to forever associate life with music: he only took the opportunity to demonstrate talents in the vocal sphere. After receiving a certificate of maturity in 2006, Ivan entered the cinematography department of the Ivan Karpenko-Kary Kiev University.

Back in the 11th grade, Ivan tried to get on the popular project "Star Factory - 6". According to the singer, he and his mother, who today is the main authority for him in the music world, were attracted by the fact that the TV show was produced by Viktor Drobysh, an influential and popular artist.

For the sake of the project, Ivan Dorn went with his mother to Moscow, where he passed the casting and was among the twenty best contestants. Nevertheless, Ivan did not work out with the “Factory”: when 16 out of 20 participants were chosen, Konstantin Ernst “rejected” Dorn.
