That evening at home he writes the song "My Soul", then over the course of several evenings "Lethargic Dream", "Spetscoridor", "Youth" are born, which will later be included in various albums of the group. A week later, Ivan finds like-minded musicians, and they organize the "Religion" group. They perform at local festivals and become laureates. Then the case brings Demyan to the producer Alexei Manzhosov, and he calls him to Moscow.

In 2001, on March 8, the musicians begin work on their first album, Young Winds. They consider this date to be the collective's birthday. Ivan wanted to keep the name of the group the same - "Religion", but in Moscow he was rejected. They did not argue further, they decided to come up with it along the way. One day they could not adjust the technique for a long time.

The song "Young Winds" was sent to audition on "Our Radio". They did not believe in success, although they hoped for a call and an invitation. In one of the evenings Ivan saw the producer of the radio station Mikhail Kozyrev on the program "Vzglyad", who was talking about the group "7B". As it turned out, no one could find the team for a month - the phones were turned off, and everyone liked the song, and it was put on the air.

Thanks to "Young Winds" the group entered the top three of the "Chartova Dozen", where it remained for 2 months. The success was followed by the signing of a contract with Real Records and concerts. One of them was given on the stage of the rock festival "Invasion-2001". The first album includes such hits as "Spoila Spring", "Kino", "Autumn", "Wait" and others.

The 7B team has been working for some time with Tatu's producer Ivan Shapovalov. The album "Aliens" and clips, including the song "I am love" and the composition of the same name, became a joint work. Music critics noted the change in the sound of the group towards a heavier sound and depressiveness. In turn, Demyan wrote two songs for the famous "tattoos" - "What is missing" and "Protect yourself with glasses".

In 2010, Oksana Pochepa was invited to the group as a backing vocalist, who is better known as the performer Akula. Together they worked on the "Olympia" album and later performed several joint songs. She was also caring for the singer in the hospital when he fell from the balcony of the 5th floor and survived. A spinal injury was not the reason for the cancellation of concerts in the south of the country.

Demian often performs with other performers. In honor of the 20th anniversary of his creative activity, he prepared a special program in which Ivan performs the songs of the group in a duet with other artists, including Vladimir Shakhrin, Oleg Menshikov and others. He also performs with his son Vlad Demyan, who has his own rock band ViD.

2013 was a fruitful year for the team. The discography includes 3 albums at once that were released during that period: "You Can't Kill Love", "Fan", "Black Friend". Then every year "7B" consistently releases an album.
