Islam Vakhaevich Kadyrov was born on July 18, 1987 in the village of Akhmat-Yurt (Tsentaroy) in the Chechen Republic. He is Ramzan Kadyrov's second cousin.

After leaving school, the young man entered the Makhachkala Institute of Finance, where he mastered the specialty of an economist. From the age of 19, Kadyrov served in the Terek SOBR unit.

The journalists of the publication believe that the politician's cousin found out his uncle's secret phone number and passed it on to Ramzan's enemies.
