I have been training boxing for several years, although I do not compete. I was hit in the head more than once and it was not always "light". Myth is that it is blunted by blows. I have done IQ tests and the results show that I have even improved my performance in recent years despite the blows to the head. From a blow to the head you can get a concussion, which usually subsides and normalizes within 24-30 hours after the blow. Of course I'm talking about a punch or an involuntary light to medium blow to the head, as in your case. I'm just reassuring you - you've hardly lowered your intellect because of the incident in question. However, if you hit your head hard and into something solid, of course, there can be consequences. My relative hit his head when he fell down the stairs (after drinking alcohol) and since then he is a completely different person, a pensioner due to illness. Regarding alcohol - I have no idea if it affects, because I consume no more than 3-4 times a year, in moderation. I didn't notice that the drinking people were more stupid. Rather, it affects their emotions - they become more emotional, outspoken or even aggressive, depending on how it affects you. They can't be controlled, they can't drive and other Thracian features. Apart from alcohol, you damage your liver. You gain weight separately because there are 4 kcal in 1 gram. In my opinion, there is good reason to believe that alcohol is harmful even if it does not kill nerve cells. In conclusion - more nerve cells can be lost from watching stupid movies, believing charlatans and reading the horoscope than from involuntary and light banging of the head :)) Regards I didn't notice that the drinking people were more stupid. Excuse me, but I don't think your problem is with the shop window or the tequila (I think you drink in moderation). But if you feel reduced mental capacity, this may be a symptom of another problem. It would be wise to take your question to your GP. Difficulty reading and confusing words is called dyslexia. This is not a disease, but a defect that is successfully treated by a speech therapist.
