Hello! I want to share something too ... it's been a long time since then, but it still comes to my mind and it becomes unpleasant to say the least.
Every pregnant woman knows that at the end of pregnancy she goes to record tones to make sure everything is fine with the baby. Of course, I have been walking since the middle of the 8th month. The recording lasts 20-30 minutes. On one of these recordings, the doctor I came across that day (she was on shift, turned out to be the head of the ward) made the recording in less than 10 minutes and cut off - the baby is suffering in your womb, it is urgent to cause birth. He refused to answer my questions, for example the logical question why the recording is only 10 minutes, whether the baby is not sleeping. Even to make it more convincing, she looked at me on an ultrasound (free of charge) and concluded that I have almost no amniotic fluid and if we do not take an urgently induced birth, I will lose the baby. She called me 2 days later when she was on shift to give birth to her. And I had not yet entered the 9th month!
Needless to mention stress and fear and how I felt in general. Initially, I decided that if I had to, I would give birth earlier, and that's it. Anyway ... just in case, the next day I went to another hospital for a new appointment. The new recording was perfect, I was reassured that everything was fine with my baby. Again, an ultrasound at another doctor - there is amniotic fluid, no problem. And so it was! I gave birth to a completely healthy baby boy shortly before term!
The question arises - is this gynecologist wrong and is it possible that this is a practice? Is it possible for someone to use your fear and the most valuable thing - your child's life, to make money? And how much does a child's life cost? BGN 500 in someone's pocket. In this case, the hospital was private. What kind of person do you have to be, not even a doctor, but a person to deliberately take out a completely normal developing baby, almost a month earlier, in order to collect some BGN 500? And if you are capable of such a thing, what else can you be capable of? I thought of it anyway ... I thought a doctor wanted a healthy psyche that most of us don't have. Maybe you should suffer, maybe you should stop looking at people purely human? Is this happening or?
I shudder to think that I could trust her and how different everything could be for my child. Of course, there are cases in which childbirth is necessary earlier, but to invent non-existent problems?
I was thinking of filing a complaint with the hospital, but how do I actually prove anything? My word against hers. In this case, it was - if the number passes.
Someone can say what, nothing happened. Yes, she's not with me, but won't another woman go to her? I would understand ... if a doctor made a mistake, not on purpose. We are human and it can happen to anyone. But what happened to me is different.
Always ask for a second opinion, no matter what doctor it is, do not overconfidence. Think and want the best for yourself and your loved ones.
