Irina Dmitrievna Farion was born on April 29, 1964 in Lvov, Ukraine. Her father worked in a factory and her mother was a librarian. It was she who instilled in her daughter an interest in Ukrainian philology.

The politician actively maintains pages on Facebook and Instagram, where he publishes videos and photos.

In March 2019, the woman continued a long-standing conflict with TV presenter Dmitry Gordon. On a Facebook page, she published a post in which she insulted the man and wished him a painful death.
