Irina Chaschina

Irina Viktorovna Chashchina is a Russian athlete, master of sports in rhythmic gymnastics, second place winner at the 2004 Olympics. Vice President of the All-Russian Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics.

Irina was born on April 24, 1982 in the city of Omsk. The girl's mother worked as a music teacher. Already at the age of 6, Irina, who was a fairly well-fed child, was sent to rhythmic gymnastics, music and swimming. The grandfather, who was not indifferent to sports, participated in the development of his granddaughter. With his submission, Irina mastered a difficult high jump for herself and became the leader of the sports section, consisting of 30 pupils.
