Vanotek is a Romanian musician and sound producer of Moldovan origin. Having started his creative career in Romania, today the man is known also abroad, collaborating with major European performers. The main style of Vanotek's music is deep house (deep house) with elements of pop music, but in his compositions he can also use acoustic instruments.

Vanotek's real name is Ion Chirinciuc. The musician was born in the Moldovan city of Ungheni. Vanotek celebrates its birthday on September 15, but the year did not appear in the media. Presumably, the man was born in 1983.

When the boy was 4 years old, his father bought him a guitar, and a little later - a piano. Musical instruments have become the favorite toys for little Ion.

While studying the future performer in the 2nd grade, his parents sent him to a music school in Ungheni. Ion himself wanted to master the guitar, but the teachers thought that the boy had too short fingers for that, so he went to learn to play the accordion.

After another 2 years, seeing her son's inexhaustible interest in music, my mother asked Ion if he would like to continue his studies in Romania. The boy agreed without hesitation. The next year he was already in Iasi.

Although Vanotek was definitely too young to live so far away from his family, he never felt like a stranger in Romania. In Iasi, Ion graduated from the music school "Octav Băncilă" (Octav Benchile is a Romanian artist from Iasi, who wrote in the genre of realism, deeply respected in his homeland).

After that, the young man entered the University "Spiru Haret" (Spiru Haret - Romanian astronomer, mathematician and politician), where he studied psychology. Receiving higher education, however, did not make Jonah give up music, with which he was already connected too much.

Vanotek began writing music at the age of 17 and in a short time managed to work with Antonia, Dan Balan and DJ Sava - popular Romanian musicians. Ion also wrote the song "Fete din Balcani" for the singer Corina. The video for her is still one of the most watched videos in the Romanian Youtube segment.

The next breakthrough was the composition "My Heart is Gone", recorded together with the popular Romanian singer Yanka - the song remained in the country's charts for several weeks. Then the track "I'm Coming Home" was recorded together with The Code & Georgian. The success of the song opened a new milestone in the creative biography of Vanotek - at the request of the fans, the musician applied to participate in the international Eurovision Song Contest 2016.

The composition did not reach the show, but it took 2nd place in the national selection. Also "My Heart is Gone" was appreciated abroad - the song was taken into rotation by radio stations in Germany, Great Britain and Portugal. Later, at the MTV Europe Music Awards, Ion was nominated for the award in the category "Best Romanian Performer".

World fame came to Vanotek in 2017. The song "Tell Me Who", recorded together with the popular Romanian singer Eneli (Ileana-Maria Popescu), gained popularity in Romania and Russia, and also hit 86th place in the world top Shazam. At the moment, this is the most famous composition of Chirinchuk. The video on Youtube has received millions of views, and the song itself was licensed by the American record label "Ultra Music".

The collaboration between Ion and Ileana-Maria did not end there: the musicians recorded together such compositions as "Tell Me Who", "Vision", "Tara" and "Back to Me". Moreover, "Back to Me" reached 5th place in the Russian top Shazam and was also licensed by "Ultra Music". Numerous successes led to the fact that in 2017 the artist recorded his debut album "No Sleep". It includes 12 songs and 1 remix. The album was released on January 22, 2017 on digital platforms.

Ion is married, the musician's wife's name is Alina. According to media reports, the couple have two children: the eldest son Matei and the youngest Luka. Moreover, the first even has his own pseudonym Minitek and spends a lot of time with his father in the recording studio, since the boy seems to be seriously interested in music.

And on October 10, an announcement of a new video appeared on the musician's Facebook: Vanotek promised fans that soon they would be able to admire the video for the song “Love is Gone”.
