I am a 31-year-old young woman and I have no friends, but I have a husband and a 2-month-old boy. I do not have a profile on social networks and for some time I have been considering creating one not on Facebook, but on Instagram, but I do not know the site very well and I do not know how to adequately appear there. Can you give me advice, such as how to upload photos, because I don't understand why this is the hashtag #, I want to share photos of me and the baby there, because I love to take pictures and they become really beautiful, even if they are taken with phone, just my son became a great muse and we have a lot of fun together. What to beware of in such a place? I want to go there because it doesn't look like Facebook to me - it won't be like a dating place and men won't write to me. Should I protect my photos with something like a watermark so they don't steal them? Years ago I had Facebook for a short time and 6 years after I deleted it I found 3 fake profiles with my photos, but with a different name and that bothered me a lot because I have no friends and I wondered who keeps them and why ... Please advice. Thanks.

Instagram is safer in terms of the fact that you can "lock" your account and accordingly you can choose who has access and who does not have access to your account and photos. In this case the hashtags are redundant, they are for open profiles. Success!
