The personal life of the Nagovitsyns was illuminated by love and talent, but overshadowed by her husband's lack of money and booze. Sergei, whom Inna calls the second Yesenin, did not think about money and sold masterpieces for a penny, and his wife had to sell headdresses on the market.

Nagovitsyna gave birth to two children, but the first-born Volodya was born prematurely and died in infancy. The death of his son and Sergei's participation in an accident in which a person died, aggravated the singer's addiction to alcohol. Nagovitsyn had a presentiment of death and died suddenly at the age of 31.
