What I remember is that there was a story about a white man who lived in Japan for a while (I'm not sure if he was there) with a rich man and was wounded, he was treated. Then the rich man's daughter fell in love with him and he with her and they were together and she became pregnant. Then they decided to run away and one day when the girl went to him (they had accommodated him in an island near the house, it was reached by boat) with her nurse they turned the boat over and she went to him, and the nurse returned to her father and said that drowned (so they can escape).
