Igor Sukachev

Igor Sukachev is a Soviet and Russian rock musician, founder and leader of several Russian rock groups, better known by his diminutive name Garik Sukachev. The musician has always followed his own path in art, thanks to which he gained particular popularity among fans of Russian rock. He also achieved success as an actor, director and TV presenter of the author's program.

Garik Sukachev was born on December 1, 1959 in the village of Myakinino, Moscow Region. The boy's parents and his sisters learned the grief of war. My father went through the Great Patriotic War from Moscow to Berlin, and my mother even visited a concentration camp.

As a process engineer, Igor's father Ivan Fedorovich in his youth mastered the technique of playing the tuba and even performed in the factory orchestra. On one of the dance evenings, he met his future wife.

In addition to Igor, the eldest daughter Tatyana was brought up in the Sukachev family. The father sent his son to a music school. Under the supervision of Ivan Fyodorovich, the boy sat for 4-5 hours every day at the instrument.
