I was also a smoker for many years, but I managed to quit very easily, it's unbelievable how easy it became. I even think that the common notion of hard giving up is a lie that everyone has believed and that is why it is difficult for some to stop them. One day I decided to go to work without cigarettes, it was a bit heavy mostly because of my free time, but it lasted, then the second day, the third day. I will not lie to you - cigarettes were in my mind for a month, but controlling your desire to smoke is not so difficult, and a person without a drop of will and stubbornness tells you. At least try. A month after I gave them up, I lit them and was disgusted by the taste, I haven't even thought about it since. Now I'd rather eat shit than light a cigarette, they look so disgusting to me, and once I remembered that I gave my all for those cigarettes, even when I had no money and sold my belongings to buy cigarettes. Now I'm angry that I did it, but it's over. I also started running, it's very easy for me now that I don't smoke; I used to gasp. Let me tell you, the first few days you will have a headache and dizziness, but that's because you cleanse yourself of toxins. Then it will enlighten you like never before.

Every time you smoke, drink a glass of water or chew gum. Never buy cigarettes. You will gradually get used to it. All you need is a strong will and ... stubbornness :)
