I was the same my mother hesitated and my father didn't want to. But after 2-3 years I finally managed to convince them (as I did not hint often) First a friend came with us to the village and saw a skinny kitten sitting away from everyone else. He felt sorry for him and took him for a week in his apartment in the warmth because it was December and the kitten was very small. After taking it, I went to them to see it. He was about to bathe him and after bathing him I dried him and we put a towel on the heater and he lay down there. The kitten very quickly learned to go to the toilet - the first time he went to the corner of the room and meowed, we quickly put him in the cat toilet and he got used to it (I forgot to write that this friend had another cat - Tsotsko). The next week we took him back to the village in the cold. I felt sorry for him and cried for a whole week so that we could take him home, and my grandmother called and scolded us because she was already used to warmth and comfort and now she doesn't eat, all the cats beat her and she sits behind the shoemaker and doesn't move from there. Finally, Mom and Dad said we would take him home. I was very happy! we took him away and he immediately looked for food and we had to show him the toilet again because he was somewhere else and he was still in another. apartment. We took him to a vet for internal and external deworming, plus some more pills there (about 40 and a few levs / it's expensive at 6 months, but that's how I want a cat /). And I named her Tsutska. now he has been with us for almost 2 years and regularly visits Tsotsko !!! Her toilet is a bit difficult because she doesn't bury her excrement, but chews on the plastic, but we love her as she is! As for the food, she didn't just get used to whiskey, as my friends used to say, she ate everything. She had eaten some bread there before the Akita and it was almost very pale balo-brown, but now she was fine. And I hope I helped you. Girl 13 years old

Cats do not smell unless you keep them more and change their toilet. On the one hand, it is good to have a cat, because it learns its own hygiene habits, while dogs and others do not. You can tell your grandmother that. Tell her that they soothe with their purring and have a beneficial effect on the person. Also tell her that they do not want much care because they do not walk, etc .. If you take a cat you must take her to the vet and give her the vaccines! You can leave the kitten only at home, BUT only if she has access to a toilet and everything is cleaned from the ground, because she can eat something that could harm her. I want to ask how long will you leave her alone? My advice is to listen a lot and spend more time with your grandmother and she will be sad that you really want this kitten and she will let you! ;) success and write. Beg her for a long time and tell her some interesting stories about cats. (For example, I did so to have my puppy and cat taken and I succeeded!)
