Hello. I am 25 years old. For 5 years in England. In 2018 I finished my higher education there (bachelor - on student loan) and shortly after that I started working (I am satisfied with the salary). My girlfriend and I are very happy there (she also has a university degree and we work together in the same company), but ... my father is in Bulgaria. He is now retired, my girlfriend and I go to Bulgaria every 3-4 months to see both him and her parents / Whenever we stay here for a while, we start to miss our homeland. This gives me thoughts in my head - did I make the right decision to graduate in England (and take out a student loan), to leave my father, etc. He is well financially here and has told me many times that I can go there to arrange, to have a higher standard of living and not to worry about it at all, but ... I was born and raised in Bulgaria. My home is here. For those who are also abroad - what do you think? Do you think the effort was worth it? Should I be guided by my sentimentality towards the past, home and parents, or should I look forward to my own interests? How are you doing? Thanks in advance for the comments.

Just look ahead! And congratulations on your efforts. I dream of being in your place now. I'm exploring opportunities to come to England on a student loan, but it's unlikely to happen ... causes a lot, I don't speak the language yet, I'm applying for a loan by 30, and I'm 29, Brexit, etc. These are exactly .. sentimentality you experience. I hope you do not hesitate and be able to build on what you have achieved. Success!
