   Nice, meaningful topic. Author, I've been this way. I have been living in Germany for almost 20 years. My husband is German. In the beginning I had the same hesitations, strong nostalgia. Do not hesitate, stay there, make a career, develop and know that your father will be calmer and happier when you are in England and you are happy there than that you returned to Bulgaria because of him. After so many years abroad, I can say that my home is here and I am visiting Bulgaria. Success!

   Looking back on the past is not good. I never thought going back makes sense and usually doesn't bring anything good. I think you're doing well there. If you can, take your parents so that you don't feel sorry for them and don't waste money on tickets. Go to Bulgaria only for vacations. Once a year it feels good. I know that most old people must be against it and don't want to move. There is their home and blah blah ... But they are already old. They don't even go out. Why should they be there. They are alone. They are without you. I don't see the point. From a psychological point of view, it is normal to be sad for the homeland. I also get sad sometimes. I don't miss people. I just miss the memories. And that's not enough to get me back. I miss nature and that's why I would take a break for 1-2 weeks and that's it. To take pictures because I like photography. I don't see the point of nostalgia. If we were born in Serbia or China, we would still be sad because we were born there. But are there really any benefits to this? If I don't know what to do, I like to write on a sheet with 2 columns: Pros / Cons and so I decide which is best. It is very difficult to decide in your head. On a sheet you have everything you need and it's easier.

   As a person living in England for 5 years, at 27 with a Bulgarian diploma I tell you this: It depends if you are happy? If all is well, move on and build a home and family! If you are not looking for why and what you can do! My friend has been here for 13 years, but we want to return to Bulgaria, and the strangest thing is that his parents are here. But we are simply not happy here, we lack social life, contacts with people, and life in London is very expensive. You say you are happy, if so, then you have made the right decision for you.

   I'm in London too, but I wouldn't say life is very expensive. The standard is high, but the income is high and you are satisfied with everything and there is an opportunity to work two jobs. London is like a mini-Africa, they are very tolerated and no one tells them, and they are lazy en masse. I'm not nostalgic, but I'm tired of living in mini-Africa and I like Germany and the Netherlands more. One should live where one feels safe, calm and happy. At some point you realize that money is not your number one goal in life and you try new opportunities. And with this Brexit ... if they don't want us, I'll leave because I'm proud.
