Hello, I am looking for advice on a problem that has plagued me for years. I am 17 years old and whenever a problem arises and someone starts to pick on me about anything, I keep quiet and let myself be trampled. It sucks because I don't have the courage to say a word to him. I just go numb and swallow my grammar. Otherwise, in front of my friends I am cheerful, funny, etc., but when someone scolds me, I can't answer him ...

Well, learn to reciprocate. So was I. I let them make me a monkey. And, as cliché as it may sound, I woke up one morning and was so fed up that I decided not to let them get on my head anymore. And I don't allow it to anyone (including my parents). We are not talking about disrespect, or disobedience, or screams and insults. It's just that when I don't like something, I say it and defend my position. You will succeed. You just have to overcome stupid prejudices. People can't do anything to you. They just talk. At most, take a slap from a girl who thinks the world revolves around her. But you will learn to stand up for yourself. :) Good luck!
