Hello! The topic I want to write about sounds strange, but I really want to get opinions and advice on it. I am 20 years old and I am of relatively normal weight, prone to gaining weight. I'm not the typical skinny girl, and I'm overweight around my belly and thighs. I am 175 cm tall and 69 kg. I have been trying for years to get rid of a few extra pounds, but I still can't. I currently go to the gym and practice yoga 3-4 times a week. I am physically active, but I love to eat terribly. I love pasta, chocolate and dairy, and these are the biggest opponents of a healthy diet. I eat large quantities, I love variety, and I know that in order to lose weight I have to reduce the quantities. Quite often I find myself in a situation where I have eaten quite a lot at lunch and after half an hour I get hungry again. Please give me some advice on reducing portions and dealing with eternal hunger.

I emphasize that I am not a doctor, but maybe you should have your blood sugar tested. Look at your hormones, there is a hormone leptin, which is responsible for the feeling of satiety, if you are deficient in it, your brain simply does not recognize that you have eaten. There is also insulin resistance - impaired function of cellular receptors that capture insulin. And a bunch of other things, but I still say - I'm not a doctor and I dare not give advice. But if you're just as hungry as any young person, carry in your bag all kinds of vegetables with cellulose - carrots, turnips, cabbage leaves, baked potatoes - these are low-calorie products, and satiate. But it still seems to me that you should ask your question to your GP.
