I Eat And Lose Weight, Starve And Gain Weight

The Story

Hello! I just want to share something quickly with you, because summer is approaching and we are all struggling with some diets, I guess. In short - in principle I am 60 kg, 175 cm. I eat mostly healthy, but I do not limit myself to carbohydrates (black bread, potatoes, rice). Well, I recently spent about 2 weeks eating all sorts of high-calorie junk - pizza, McDonald's, lots of jam, lots of beer. I weighed myself after this period and weighed 58 kg - 2 less! To find out that I'm not bragging, there is a sequel - immediately after that I spent another 2 weeks eating only healthy things, and even with a restriction of carbohydrates. I ate mostly eggs, meat, salads and some fruit. Finally I weighed myself and ... I weighed 60 kg again! That is, I had gained 2 kilograms back. What I wanted to ask you is - has it happened to you? And what do you think is the reason? Do you think that the metabolism actually slows down when a person limits himself too much and therefore gains weight (although I didn't limit myself brutally, I consumed about 1500 calories a day)? Or rather, it is something on a mental basis - is it really possible when we do what makes us happy (in this case - eat whatever we want), to affect us in some positive way (in this case - to lose weight)?
