I'm a girl, also 18, and I'm just like you.
Now they're going to tell you to go out for coffee and discos and get a girlfriend, and... Forgot the gym. As they say, "This book we've already read." I am also 20 years old and I have never had a girlfriend. It's hard, but I'm getting used to it, I'm slowly starting to put up with this and getting used to loneliness.
You don't have to go to discos and cafes. Just go where you like and be more sociable. It helps when you look attractive.
And still I can not understand the common between cafes and discos and finding a friend/girlfriend...
It doesn't depend on who you are, whether you're going to cafes or discos or other places like that. These are tales from film-coated people like you. And what you're 18 or 20, or whatever you have. It's not the end of the world that you don't have boyfriends. It doesn't matter that you're not sociable. Instead of self-pity and despair that you are alone, you can at least try to find someone. If it doesn't work out, it's going to happen sometime. It takes time to find the right person.
Don't think that's what this is about. I'm 20, and I'm the same. I have felt bad in those moments that you described, but everyone follows their own path in life and should not imitate the others, but be themselves. Keep up with what makes you happy and that's your passion. Here, I have a passion for football and I've traveled with vans/trains as warped in the past year, but it's worth it. The emotion that brings me this experience cannot be given to me by 20 discos, cafes, gatherings and things like that.
I have found a girlfriend through the Badoo application and already almost 8 months I am super happy.. She's a great... The difference is that I have a fairly good opinion of myself.. I work, I want good money and recently I changed the Mercedes with Mazda (family car)... Raise your self-esteem you will succeed
