Hello! I am a girl of 17, in a month I will be 18. I have had a problem with insomnia since December. He appeared suddenly. Until January-February somewhere I could not sleep 3-4 nights a week. It affected me terribly, especially as a student. I got headaches, dizziness, nervous laughter. I still have such nights, and many months have passed. Usually the days before going to bed I didn't have anything to stress me out, on the contrary, very good days, and then the nights the number of stars ... True, I'm not without problems - worries about my future (because I'm graduating soon), parting with friends and family after I continued to study in another city. Could this have affected me? Has anyone had such a problem and how did he cope? I read a lot of things like walking outside before bed, or reading a book, or without using the phone an hour before bed, but it doesn't help me much: (...

Hello lovely girl. I don't usually write comments, but unfortunately I'm very good at insomnia. You can be absolutely convinced that it is the result of mental stress. When you calm down, things will adjust. Unfortunately, this will not happen in day two, it took me months to regain my mental stability and sleep, but it will happen, no doubt about it. Whatever cataclysms have occurred in my life in the last 3 years, I have always been hit by insomnia, dizziness, lack of concentration ... awful. It happened to me that I could not sleep for 4 days. This from problems and accumulated tension. I am quite a defense against expressing negative emotions out loud and unfortunately my body obviously reacts in this way, not expressing them in any other way. Finally I went to a psychiatrist, was prescribed some antidepressants and diazepam. I drank them for about two weeks, but a friend told me to stop because they were not for me. I listened to her, stopped them. It took me months to get back on my feet, but I got up. One thing I will tell you, if you do not take matters into your own hands, no one else can help you, even if they want to. My advice is, do things you love, meet close people who do not burden you, find a hobby and very importantly - play sports !!!! Sport distracts the mind a lot from the negativities in everyday life. Things will get better, just make sure you're calm. find a hobby and very important - play sports !!!! Sport distracts the mind from the negativities of everyday life.
