How To Whiten Your Teeth?

By maxstephen October 30, 2020 9 answers Last updated October 30, 2020

I have a problem with my teeth. I have had tartar for a long time. Is there a way to remove it. I've read that it works with soda, but it's not very safe because there is a risk of further hypersensitivity.

Tartar is removed by a dentist. It is painful, especially if it is a lot, and it is not the most pleasant procedure. It costs between 50 and 100 leva. It is mandatory to do it at least once a year, and if it is collected much more often. Bleaching is a separate procedure and is also done by a dentist. It is quite expensive, but if you have the funds it is worth it.

Once you have tartar, you need to remove it. At home it will not happen, go to the dentist. Depending on the amount of tartar you have, you will be prescribed one to five procedures. They are not painful, don't worry. But you have to look at it seriously, because it is dangerous (not only for the appearance of the teeth. Tartar is an accumulation of bacteria at the base of the teeth, which not only spoils the tooth, but also causes periodontitis. Take quick action.

Not at all! All attempts at bleaching severely and irreversibly damage the enamel! For a few years of "beauty" you will now pay with decades of damaged teeth. And the constant strong and annoying pains of sweet, sour, cold, hot, will be your least problem ...

I go to the dentist once a year to clean tartar. If necessary, you can twice. The procedure does not cost BGN 50 or BGN 100. My dentist takes BGN 3 per tooth. I clean 6 teeth, lower front teeth. I go once and it costs me BGN 18. During the examination they will tell you where there is a need for cleaning. It doesn't hurt so much, it's just a little uncomfortable and bleeding. It feels bad afterwards because the gums are inflamed.

And my opinion is to go to the dentist. Don't worry, it's not painful and it's not that expensive. There is no way to remove tartar at home / at least I don't know how /, but you can safely use a home whitening system after it is cleaned. I have used the "Beautiful white" system bought from a pharmacy and I am satisfied. You should know that there is no absolutely harmless way to whiten, but I have already bleached my teeth twice and everything is fine so far.

If you have the opportunity to go to the dentist, I personally whiten them in soda and lemon at home :)
