How Many Hours A Day?

The Story

How many hours a day do you spend on Facebook and social networks? The coronavirus has shown how connected we are to the media and the online space today and how millions of people can be influenced by information or misinformation alone. What do you think? How long have you been online and do you feel addicted? Some time ago I realized something quite interesting. Apart from the fact that the main purpose of Facebook, YouTube, and the like is to follow what you are looking for on the web and so to submit ads with things to buy or watch. I understand that all the information you share can be used not only for commercial but also for political purposes! Who knows if each of us somewhere in a computer in the US does not have a whole file with everything he searched for, posted, and wrote on the Internet ?? Do you consider this to be normal and is it not a violation of human rights and freedoms?

I've also heard that psychologists work on Facebook who have made the platform itself - even the very sounds of a messenger when they write to you, such that you become even more addicted! I did an experiment to use my phone for at least a few days and found that it is really addictive! The good news is that the addiction is weak and can be overcome - in a few days you get used to entering less often. YouTube the same thing. There are theories, and I myself support it, that they eavesdrop on your keyword microphone, and when you say something key, it pops up soon after as recommended for viewing.

At least I'm glad that some young people felt these things. I already have people on Facebook who only use messenger. In general, Facebook has become a cougar, all sorts of vulgarities are uploading and simplifying the people, along with misinformation and fake news. Instead of learning something decent, children only post memes with vulgarities and vulgarities. Do you consider yourself addicted and do you think to limit the influence of social networks on your life?
