Landers spent his childhood in Berlin, at school he did not have great success, as he was often ill and missed lessons. He began to study the Russian language as a child, when his parents sent him to study in Moscow, to a school at the embassy of the GDR. The man even now speaks this language quite well, although he did not retain his reading and writing skills until adulthood.

Landers' parents divorced, and soon his mother remarried. Due to constant quarrels with his stepfather, at the age of 16, Paul left home and began to live separately from his parents. Then he mastered playing the guitar.

Paul developed a serious passion for music by the age of 19, then the young man, together with Alesha Rompe and Christian Lorenz, created a punk-rock band, which later received the name Feeling.

In his youth, the ambitions of guitarist Landers were overwhelmed, so after 3 years the guy again took up the creation of a group, but already different. This time with two other fellow musicians he founds First Arsch and at the same time plays in other bands.

Victory in 1994 at the Berlin Senate Metro Beat Contest by Oliver Riedel, who has performed with other artists, allows 4 demos to be recorded in a professional studio. Later, Christian Lorenz and Landers joined the newly formed group, and the group received the name Rammstein.

Till Lindemann was invited to take the place of the soloist, he subsequently brought the team into the history of German music. In a couple of years, the group became cult, their songs gained worldwide fame. And Paul himself all these years has been adding shocking outfits and hairstyles to the team. He is deservedly called a provocateur, but the fans still go crazy over the charming Landers.

Paul met his first wife before becoming a famous musician. She was a girl named Nikki, with whom he married shortly after meeting. Landers was 20 years old, and he sincerely believed that it was forever. But, contrary to his hopes, the newlyweds did not live together for long, due to the constant absence of the musician at home, Nikki filed for divorce, they did not have joint children.

Paul did not suffer from loneliness for long, he soon met Yvonne Reinke, the relationship between them ended with the birth of Landers' first child, the boy was named Emil. At that time, the couple's personal life cracked, after which they parted. The son stayed with his father. And soon their small family was waiting for a replenishment, Landers had a daughter, her girlfriend, who works in the Rammstein team as a makeup artist, gave birth to her.

In August 2019, a lot of gossip appeared around the name of the musician regarding his orientation. This was facilitated by the act of a man committed at a concert in Moscow, when he kissed Richard Kruspe on the lips right on the stage. The musicians themselves refused to comment on this act.

Rammstein continues to perform today, often travels around the world with performances. From Landers' interview, it is clear that each of the band members loves Russia very much, so they do not make Russian listeners wait long for their arrival. In 2019, they released the album "Rammstein", after which they went on a tour. In early August of the same year, they managed to please Muscovites with songs.
