He Avoids Talking About The Future And Marriage

The Story

He was kind of angry at first and left, but returned the next night with a marriage proposal and assurances that he had changed his mind and really wanted it. Everything seemed fine, but time passed and again no concrete plans, no conversations. I raised the issue many times, he kept saying, "Wait, there's time," "Where are you in a hurry?" Of all my attempts, I was only able to arrange the month in which the wedding was to take place. But until then, there is little time left, and we still have no plans. I even suggested that we not have a wedding so as not to spend money, but only to get married, but he said that if we get married we will do it "like people". He even accused me of being annoying and pressuring him, and it's been 7 months since he allegedly proposed to me. And so I keep waiting, we say absolutely nothing about our future - not just about a wedding, but nothing at all. It is almost too late to organize something for the planned month. It seems that he is planning all sorts of other things, but not a wedding, and he keeps hanging out with me. But why does he do it? We quarreled many times, we parted several times and he lasted 1 day and came back with apologies and new promises. He doesn't want us to break up, but he runs away as if scalded by conversations about the future. I think this is already abnormal - we have been together for so long and we can't have a conversation. My age is getting older, I want children, etc. I'm thinking of parting with him forever, but I still don't have the courage. Please advise if it is correct? Do you think it's worth trying more and waiting? Why do you think a man changes his mind? Why doesn't he want to leave me at the same time?
