Grzegorz Cebula

Grzegorz Cebulya, best known under the stage name C-Bool, is a Polish musician, producer, performer and DJ. He held high positions in the charts of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus and twice received the national Eska Music award, and also took 2nd place at the Polsat SuperHit Festiwal event.

The biography of Grzegorz Cebuli began on May 30, 1981 in the small Polish town of Pyskowice, where he was born, grew up and was raised in an unremarkable working-class family. In his youth, the future DJ was a fan of such groups as Queen and Guns N 'Roses, knew about all the musical events that took place at that time in rock, hip-hop, metal and pop.

In the early 1990s, Grzegorz was fond of Italian disco and variety art, represented by such performers as Pupo, Al Bano and Romina Power, Toto Cutugno and Riccardo Folli, and then he developed an interest in electronic music, which spread during his studies in general education high school.

After listening to compositions that were created using digital sampling and computer technology, Cebulya asked his parents for a simple synthesizer and began performing at discos, copying Autechre, Oval and Amen Break.

And then, having mastered the mixer and learning how to interact with a motley audience, the young man moved to clubs and, thanks to a sense of rhythm and a competent selection of melodies, became a professional DJ working in the genres of IDM and Glitch.

In the early 2000s, giving concerts in various venues, Grzegorz met members of the DJs Team and Base Attack and Casteam. Soon, with the support of a musician named Marcin, the young man took up creative work and recorded the debut singles House Baby and Would You Feel on professional equipment.

The compositions received positive reviews from listeners, and the DJ, who took the name C-Bool as his stage name, attracted great interest from the producers and the artist known as Flashrider.

Under his influence, the aspiring master of samples and mixes recorded the track In My Heart, which was distributed on the radio, and presented the release of a maxi-single called C-Bool - Will You Feel. It included remixes made by Ziggy X and Flashrider that hit the Western European charts, and then there were songs Do It Easy and Body & Soul.

In the 2010s, after the presentation of a video clip with the singer Isabelle, having conquered the dance charts in Germany, Austria, Italy and Japan, C-Bool recorded his debut album 8 Years, which, according to the title, included songs created over 8 years.

In 2016, the musician released the single Never Go Away, which took 1st place on the AirPlay list and became the most popular song on Polish radio stations, and then received the status of a diamond single, reaching a record number of streams and sales for electronic music.

A few months later, the DJ's discography was replenished with the composition Magic Symphony, recorded with guest vocals by a musician named Giang Pham. The song was included in the AirPlay rating at number 1 and earned 4 platinum certificates, exceeding 80,000 circulation in sales.

In the spring of 2017, after a series of successful concerts in Poland, Ukraine and Belarus and receiving nominations and awards from the Eska Music Awards, C-Bool released the single DJ Is Your Second Name, which took 3rd place in the music rating presented on AirPlay and 2nd place at the festival in the city of Sopot.

On March 9, 2018, a new hit called Wonderland appeared in the DJ's track record, which, accompanied by an official video clip, a month after the premiere, gained more than 14 million views on YouTube. And then within a few months there was a presentation of the Rumors remix performed by musicians R3hab and Sofia Carson and a composition with the participation of Cadence XYZ, released under the name Fire In My Head.
