Hi, there are many topics for gastritis, but I did not find what I was looking for. I have had chronic gastritis for 4 years now. I went to different doctors, they prescribed the same drugs, some helped for a few months and then the same thing. Terrible, unbearable stomach pains, I have the feeling that it is turning, I start to breathe hard and heavy, I tremble and in most cases I vomit and sometimes it relieves me, sometimes it doesn't. I want to ask people who have the same problem how they eat. I've read the whole internet in Bulgarian and English and I'm not doing well. A year ago I ate only snacks, pasta and often I had no problem all year, except that I gained 10 pounds and this is not a solution for me. So please, if anyone has found the golden mean between a balanced diet and without gaining weight to share how. Do you eat vegetables and do they irritate you and how often and how much of what foods do you eat and does it matter how you mix them? I apologize a lot for the long topic, I just can't take it anymore and I will be happy for advice. I wish everyone a good day and I hope the moderators upload my story. Thanks in advance and kisses.

You eat little and often, you do not overeat, you peel fruits and vegetables so as not to irritate the stomach, you do not eat fried and spicy, you avoid coffee and alcohol, you do not drink soda, you do not eat legumes (lentils, beans, corn, peas), you are tested and for that bacterium that can cause it, because an antibiotic is prescribed for it and diet alone will not help, complete calm and lack of emotional drama. These are the basic things that are valid for everyone. Every day a bucket of yogurt, light cooked and baked foods without fat. Depends on whether your high or low acid plays a role, but once you vomit it is most likely high. In exacerbation I spend a few days on boiled carrots, terribly useful for gastritis, and boiled potatoes with a little cheese, yogurt too, of course. Follow a baby diet for about a month and do not stress, because it really exacerbates problems. Otherwise, everyone has some triggers for gastritis, for me fresh milk, for example. After the baby diet, include some foods one by one and see what you can and can't tolerate. It will go away! And mine is supposed to be chronic, but observing these things, I don't remember it at all :)
