In high school, Moldanazar realized that he wanted to associate his further biography with music and vocals. After receiving the certificate, he went to Almaty, but was not admitted to the pop vocal department without musical education. Therefore, the young man undertook to independently master the musical literacy, wishing to prepare for admission.

In order not to return home and not waste a year, Galymzhan entered the Academy of Arts, choosing the acting department. He had no plans to become a professional actor, so the guy dropped out of school without even completing the 1st year. To make a living, Moldanazar worked in music studios: he wrote lyrics, learned to compose electronic music.

In the same crucial year for the singer, the group Moldanazar and its frontman met with famous American colleagues - the rock cellist group Break of Realiti. As part of the tour, the ensemble visited Almaty and performed on the stage of the State Philharmonic. There, the musicians of the two teams met and agreed on cooperation.

Soon Moldanazar and Break of Reality met in New York, where they performed together at one of the concert venues. The compatriots' performance was attended by Kazakhs living in the United States. From the USA Galymzhan Moldanazar brought fans a new video for the hit "Aupen Birge".

The second round of the band's popularity began after the premiere of the song "Ozin Gana", based on social motives. The musicians recorded a memorable video for the composition, directed by a friend and colleague of Moldanazar - Malik Zenger. Ozin Gana is not the first collaboration between Galymzhan and Malik, but the brightest. The song made the Kazakh funk and synth-pop artist famous outside of Kazakhstan, gaining over a million views on the Internet.

Within the framework of cooperation with the production center of actor, showman and director Nurtas Adambayev, Galymzhan Moldanazar recorded the soundtrack for his film "Taraz".
