I thought about the friendships over the years, how they developed, and how they ended. I even made a list of people who have been closer to me for a longer period of time. About 15-17 names came out. I started with my earliest childhood and elementary school. And I noticed that as I read over the years, friendships became more superficial, selfish, and based on mutual interests. Not that as children there were no selfish motives either. But the parents gave money, we didn't have much to share. We didn't fight about girls. Over time, we seem to become worse, distrustful, and even more selfish and interested. What do you think? Do you have real friendships, what happened to your childhood friendships? Did they stay the same as they once were?
