Don't take it so personally, just meet other people. And yes, you're right, you can't have more than 2-3 real friends. Most people actually have one or none. That's what happened to me. Until the 7th grade I was in a school and I had a certain environment, we met with certain neighbors and classmates to play football, and in the class itself I had 3-4 good friends in my opinion. But, after I moved to high school, we stopped going to play football and from these initial childhood friendships I was left with exactly ONE friend with whom I still hear regularly, even though he already lives in Belgium. Even the boy who had been sitting next to me for 7 years at a desk stopped calling me because he just didn't need me like he used to, when he could copy it from me at home, on a math or English test. In high school again - a new environment, new people and friendships and we formed a stable group of 7-8 people, we invited each other to birthdays, movies, trips, etc. But when we finished again - we scattered, some remained in their native Burgas, others left for Varna or Sofia, and others in Belgium, Canada and the United States. And so I have only two friends left from high school and 2 more, with whom I see once a year for a beer. At the university and after it - similarly, with each change of job - similarly. And there is simply no way, I myself feel that sometimes with a colleague with whom we work together for 5 years or with a neighboring friendly family as we sit now at a cafe we ​​now have much more common topics of conversation than with people I have been together in high school or university and then we were friends, but we did not see each other or maintain active contact for 10 years or more. They already have a new environment, job, interests and you quickly realize that you no longer have much to say to them. And, in other cases, you realize that even if you want to, you can't meet certain people more often, because they no longer live even in your city. So, take this as a natural process.    Don't worry, it worked out exactly the same for me. My two best friends and I had almost totally different interests, but that didn't bother me. I went out with them and I was fine. To me, they were just friends and that's it. Their understanding, however, was clearly not the case. In time, I came to the conclusion that I was just comfortable with them, and the moment they no longer needed me, they evaporated. Not that there were no indications of their true intentions, but I ignored them. In general, they were exactly the same as yours. When they had company, they hardly called and went out separately. It happened that on birthdays I was not invited. If I asked them for something, they either did it with great reluctance, or in most cases a finger-breaking and twisting would begin. Otherwise, I was taken for granted in this regard. They just call and they know that 99% of things will happen to them. However, I do not regret that it happened. Even on reflection, I myself had to withdraw much earlier. I'm sorry that they lightly crossed out a long-standing friendship, but I'm not angry with them and I don't have any negative thoughts in me. I even think that one of the two rather fell victim to the bad environment in which he found himself. He was basically a well-mannered and responsive boy, but he started working in a company where almost all of his colleagues were lazy, retail thugs and alcoholics. If someone had told me before that the environment has such a strong influence on a person, I would have laughed at him. The fact is, however, that in less than 2 years of work there, this man became an exact copy of them. They were all over 50, and he was 23-24. He started drinking constantly, just wondering what a "scam" to do, fucked his only decent colleague, who on top of everything had done him a favor, etc. In general, the advice I would give in such a situation is to withdraw. No one needs to look for it only for services and when they are in trouble.

   I don't know if it makes sense to give personal examples, but I have a similar situation. So it is with many other people, neither I nor you are a unique exception. :)

   And I have found that there are no friends, only interests. Think about how friendships arise - they put you in the same environment and you see that you have the same interests (for example at school and university) or at some other gatherings of people you went to because of a certain interest (for example you go to some dances and meet with people, etc.).

   If you saw each other often, this would not happen. You both want to be abroad and when they come home they carry you in their arms. Well, they are just used to it without you. This is normal. At the time my college was in another city and since the age of 15 they have been facing this problem. That's why when I get home I look for them all the time. That's why we've been stuck with some for> 27 years. And they're always happy to see me when I get home. I'm already trying not to haim so often, and everything started to fall into place.
