I just don't want to think about the problems that are on your mind. But whether you drink or not, they are still there. And when you drink and don't solve them, it gets worse. If your divorcing, accept it as a fact that does not move whether you want to or not. Your life will get better over time. Drinking is not a way out. You may be suffering from a lack of attention from your parents. If they are bad and have problems, you can't get it. Everything happens over time. People who succumb to alcohol become mentally weak and are rejected by society. I knew a woman who had family problems and indulged in alcohol. When she got drunk, she started annoying and causing problems, and after a while no one wanted to be around her. Everyone avoided her, and in the end she just disappeared somewhere. I can talk to you a lot about this topic because I grew up with an alcoholic and I know what the hell my childhood was like and how I wanted my mother to leave him and how I hated him and he didn't go home. Ironically, I married a man who drank and became intoxicated afterwards. Now it is difficult for my children as well, but I constantly explain to them that this is a kind of disease that affects the psyche and I hope that none of them will go down this path. It's very scary. The brain is damaged, the vestibular system, internal organs - everything is a mess. Not worth it. Everything can be experienced, but to harm yourself and harm others .... but I constantly explain to them that this is a kind of disease that affects the psyche and I hope none of them will go down this path. Good for you! Admitting that you have a problem means that you have overcome it by half.
