The reason is that things really do not depend on us, we are some pawns who are assigned miniature roles, we are tiny extras with some miniature voices, some smurfs who run away from the bad Gargamel :-) The scenario in which we are put and the big picture we are in is not up to us, it is up to us to make our tiny daily choices, whether to do the right thing or to act selfishly. This world, which you care so much about, sinks into evil and it is doomed to disappear, to be erased and destroyed. The Scriptures testify to this. So you have nothing to worry about, he is a lost cause. Take care of yourself and what choices you make every day. If you try to change the matrix in which you live, you will see that it is quite hard and unyielding, but with enough effort from enough people, some aspects of it can change, but you will eventually become exhausted and desperate and wonder if you are it was worth it because essentially nothing would have changed.

Then my grandmother stopped gardening, strange vegetables with an unnatural taste began to be sold in the market, and I realized the difference. I had to lose quality vegetables to appreciate them as quality. It was a small lesson, but very valuable to me. I am no longer a small child, I see the world differently. Now I look at tomatoes and cucumbers, hoping that my children will appreciate it. When I go outside in front of the block and get outraged by the butts, the packaging and the leaves that haven't been swept away, well, I take the broom from the entrance and start. It is true that our subscription cleaning of the block also includes sweeping in front of it, but what of that, nothing costs me to spend 15 minutes. I try not to accumulate things, I give my old things to other people, to make them happy. I do such trifles that cost me nothing, but are good for other people, not only for me. I can't afford medical research. I don't have the knowledge to invent a cure for cancer on my own. I do not have the strength to stop pollution from factories, planes or cars. I can throw away my own garbage and count part of someone else's. I can clean up after my dog. I can turn off the lights behind my back and donate things. I can use public transport more often and when I travel, to take passengers with me. I may not waste water, I usually stop the tap while brushing my teeth or soaping the dishes. I can do so much and I do so much. Some time ago I was a smoker and it may sound like a kind of fiction, but I did not throw butts on the ground, because there were ashtrays or special compartments for cigarettes in the bins, you must have seen them, they stand like bars, I do not know what it's called. I hurt myself, I repeated it to myself, but at one point I realized that I would hurt my loved ones as well. I stopped smoking in front of them, and finally stopped smoking altogether because I realized I didn't like coughing often. I can do so much, I do so much. I guess the same goes for a lot of other people. Alas, I am not a vegetarian, if we say that this is a vice and I am in the scheme of killing animals, let it be so, I would bear the consequences. But I think that even if I stopped eating meat, animals would still be killed. The mass population must refuse a good or service in order for it to stop being offered.
