Later, the famous artist was courted by Fidel Castro and a married Argentine politician (Ekaterina hides the name of her admirer), but Shavrin married only in 1983, to her compatriot, musician Grigory Lazdin.

The couple met backstage at a concert where both artists performed. In marriage, Shavrina gave birth to two daughters - twins Zhanna and Ella. In 2015, the singer's husband died. The artist decided that from that moment on, she would devote her personal time only to children and grandchildren.
