In the beginning I had no friends because I returned to a big city where I didn't know anyone, but in exactly 2 weeks I had company and friends. I'm happy for myself, but I'm not saying it's for everyone. I myself decided to go to study abroad and I decided to return on my own. It is important to have a job in advance if you return. Western companies in Bulgaria pay well to people with good education / up to 5,000 euros net for mechanical engineers with Western education /, but yes - you will not take exactly as much as you would take in the West - but relatively not only you will be middle class, but even wealthy, not to say rich. I have an acquaintance-foreigner, sent on a project in Sofia and cannot spend his money! He planned to spend about 2000 euros, but with his habits of life he could not spend 1000 levs :) The absolute salary is important if you stick to things like unused cars, exotic vacations, expensive electronics. If you take in Bulgaria even 1/2 of the salary in the West, you can live very well, but your car will be used, you will have a Samsung instead of an iPhone and you will take a vacation on the Black Sea coast, not in Asia, although this is relative - My friends and I were on holiday in Australia this year ... it is very fashionable at the moment to travel around Asia, the USA and Europe and many Bulgarians can afford it. I know people who travel around countries like Vietnam, Lagos, India, Thailand, etc. There are many problems, but not everyone lives badly in Bulgaria,

For this reason I have found my own formula - work and live abroad, and when it's time to rest - go to Bulgaria. At least it looks gorgeous to me.
