Hello! I want to ask when they do surgery for a perineal fistula do they put a catheter? I am about to have one and I am afraid of these catheters.

Maybe you mean an enema, a catheter is something else. They did this to me and they didn't put a catheter on me and they didn't give me an enema. I just had to eat nothing the day before.

A urinary catheter is placed during surgery, because after the operation the movement is after a day or two.
