Biography
Schokk (aka Dmitry Hinter, Dmitry Bamberg, Ya, Chabo, YAVAGABUND) is a Russian-speaking rap artist from Germany, who, thanks to numerous beefs, has earned the fame of the most scandalous Russian rapper.
fact
Childhood and youth
Dmitry Hinter was born in December 1980 in the Kazakh city of Oktyabrsk, later renamed Kandyagash. The future rapper was brought up with his brother by his father and stepmother. The boy did not differ in diligence at school, he preferred to draw or play football.
In 1996, by the decision of his father, a German by nationality, the family moved to Germany. Dima's aunt lived there, she helped the newcomers to settle in a prestigious area of the city of Bamberg. Because of his violent temper, Dima was kicked out of two schools, the teenager stole from shops, dabbled in pot, and had problems with the police. In the end, the guy went to study to be a church artist. At the same time, Dmitry makes his first steps in German rap.
fact
Music
Since 1999, Shokk has been attending rap parties in the Russian émigré community, in 2007 he met another émigré rapper Ivan Makhalov, known as Czar, on the Internet. Ivan offered the aspiring musician cooperation, as a result of which Shock released the first Russian-language track "Two blows". Czar brought Dmitry to Rap Woyska Records on the label of the same name.
The group's creativity was based on insults and aggressive attacks on Russian rappers. Later, Rap Troops entered the OpticRussia label, organized by the German rapper Kool Savas specifically for Russian-speaking MCs. During this period, Shokk walked with insults at almost all Russian rappers, despite the fact that in Russia, by and large, they did not know him, but the musician managed to make enemies.
In 2008, Vitya SD introduced Shokka to Oxxxymiron. The rappers became close friends, went to concerts together, which did not take long to affect the collaboration with Rap Woyska Records and the final break in 2010.
Shokk's biography was replenished with a collaboration with the German group Kellerkommando, with which the rapper recorded an album of 9 tracks entitled Dei Mudder Sei Hut. But at the same time, Oksimiron announced plans to create a new label, and Dmitry left the group, which he later regretted.
On a new label called "Vagabund", Oksimiron and Shokk released an internet single "Now Thick, Now Empty" of 4 songs and went on the October Events tour. Informally, the tour received a different, obscene name, due to inconsistency in the schedule of performances with the Casta group: the musicians sometimes met in the same city in neighboring clubs.
At the end of the tour, Shokk began writing the album "From the Highway", which included the tracks "Thoughts stain your brains", "Chronicle of the past", "Bring back my words." The work on the album went on in London, where Dmitry fled due to problems with the German police, as he could not get rid of his youthful habits of robbery and drugs.
In autumn 2011, the album was released and the last joint tour with Oksimiron, who presented his own album "The Eternal Jew". Friends quarreled over a banal money issue. In the Vagabund label, another rapper, Vanya Lenin (Ivan Karoy), was responsible for organizing questions. Oksimiron blamed him for the low fees, Shokk did not share his position.
The reason for the breakdown was Shock's showdown with rapper Roma Zhigan (Roman Chumakov), in which Roman forced Dmitry to kneel, hit him in the face and forced him to apologize for previous insults. Shock went to Hamburg and threatened to involve the European investigating authorities.
Oksimiron, who was present at the scene of the conflict, considered Shokk's flight and subsequent statements not in line with Vagabund's policies. Shokk regarded his friend's act as a betrayal and left, first to his brother in Cannes, then to Berlin, taking Vanya Lenin with him. Later, Vanya, according to Dmitry, became addicted to hard drugs, and his friends had to leave.
After leaving Vagabund, Shock chose Twitter as a promotion channel, where at first he continued to splash out emotions on other rappers, their fans, former colleagues, without choosing expressions. However, the negativity accumulated over the years exhausted Dmitry, and the rapper decided to start all over again: he took a new name - Ya, but left the old one in reserve - what if the case related to Schokk would surface or the previous skills in insult and humiliation would be needed.
The renewed Ya released a video for the song "Prodigal Son", the Input / Output mixtape, began collaborating with rapper Ptah and released a video "On Interest" for the song of the same name.
Through Twitter, the musician was found by the Russian-German team Phlatline, on whose label Shock began collaborating with MicChiba, Fogg, Maxat, DJ Maxxx, Kate Nova, published mixtapes "Notes of a Madman", "Meister Franz", "Leichenwagen". The collection Crime and Punishment, released in 2015, contained 24 tracks recorded over the previous five years, including with Oksimiron.
Schokk switches from battle rap to "XYND". Under this name, the singer's second studio album was released in 2015. Fans heard the new Shock - the lyricism of the tracks was not inferior to the early aggressive compositions, the musician himself explained the changes with the desire to forget what he was ashamed of, the desire to show that he is a good son and friend, that he is not afraid to be weak.
Over the next two years, Dmitry presented the album-trilogy "Hunger".
fact
Personal life
Dmitry is not married, but has been in a relationship for 7 years, but neither the name of the chosen one nor the occupation are known. According to rumors, former lovers keep in touch. The rapper is raising an adopted son - a boy who escaped from an orphanage.
fact
Schokk now
According to the rapper's own admission on a social network page, 2017 turned out to be the worst year of his life: Schokk underwent surgery, lost an apartment in Berlin, and was left without money. But on the other hand, he toured Europe, wrote two parts of Hunger in a week, and established relations with the LSP.
Despite the musician's gloomy thoughts that he was tired of rap, on the anniversary of the death of Tupac Shakur (September 13), Shock presented a joint track and video "Tupacalips" with Adamant.
A month later, Dmitry's next piece, "Rosé Wine", was released. The title of the song has nothing to do with the lyrics, filled with profanity and the mention of the artist's name in every line.
Shokk is also known as an artist, moreover, he draws with his left hand. On his Instagram page, Dmitry announced the recruitment of a group of people wishing to learn how to draw in order to convey their experience. I also posted several of my works there.
At the end of 2017, Dmitry's contract with Phlitline ended; the company does not plan to renew it. The closing songs are "Old Benz" and "Murcielago" (feat. ILLA)
