In 2018, 4 more parts of the series were released, called "Return", "Serving the Throne and the Fatherland", "Triumvirate" and "Forward to the West!" The storyline is the events of a difficult life at the front, where the only law reigns: "Kill, or you will be killed." Under these conditions, the "mad ensign" remains human and does not lose his appearance. Courageously resists chaos and does not slip into disbelief.

In 2019, Dmitry Zurkov and his colleague delighted readers with a new novel of the cycle called "The Game Without Rules." The book masterfully describes the events of bleeding Russia, which the “allies” look at as tasty prey, dreaming of ripping off their piece.
