Dmitriy Surzhikov

Dmitry Surzhikov is a versatile Ukrainian theater and film actor, behind whom there are more than a hundred roles. Known for such works as "Matchmakers 4", "Time to Love", "Indian Summer", etc. Dmitry Anatolyevich also tried himself as a director, producer and screenwriter.

Unfortunately, little is known from the biography of Dmitry Anatolyevich Surzhikov: the actor was born on December 31, 1979 in Ukraine, in the city of Mariupol, Donetsk region. In 1997, Surzhikov left his hometown for the capital to enter a theater institute.

In 2003, Dmitry graduated from the Kiev National University of Theater, Cinema and Television named after Ivan Karpovich Karpenko-Kary. At the theater university, Surzhikov attended the workshop of the People's Artist of Ukraine Nikolai Rushkovsky. There, the future actor tried himself in different roles, starting with a comedic role and ending with characters with a difficult character. Since 2004 Dmitry served in the Kiev Academic Drama and Comedy Theater on the Left Bank of the Dnieper. There, according to the actor's recollections, there was a rather tight schedule: sometimes he had to play 13 performances a month, so the future movie actor got up at 7 in the morning to repeat numerous scenarios. In his youth, Dmitry dreamed of becoming a director, but fate turned out differently. As the Ukrainian actor admits, in many respects his dream did not come true due to laziness, since the 16-year-old teenager did not have time to prepare for the exams to become a director.

Dmitry stayed at the Levoberezhny Theater until 2011. But on TV screens Surzhikov made his debut back in 2003, then he starred in a cameo role in the Ukrainian mini-series "European Convoy". The aspiring actor continued to work on the cinemas, playing minor serial characters, but in 2006 the first full-length film was released with Dmitry Surzhikov in the title role. This film was the work of director Alexander Kopeikin "Treasure", where the actor played Benjamin.

In 2007, Dmitry starred in the popular 254-episode Ukrainian television series Guardian Angel, where he plays the role of the charismatic investigator-major Arkady Polosov.

Despite the fact that cinema brings more money, Surzhikov does not want to give up theatrical art, while working on the dramatic stage. According to the actor, the theater was created more for the soul and self-knowledge.

One of Surzhikov's iconic acting works is a play by one actor Rob Becker "Savage Forever, or a few words in defense of the caveman." This performance is a world theatrical heritage and has been translated into 35 languages ​​of the world. Dmitry became the first Ukrainian artist to take part in this project. The one-man show lasts 2 hours and represents the height of the professionalism of a theater and film actor.

Dmitry is a cheerful and charming person, despite frequent dramatic roles, in life he is used to smiling. At least, this can be seen in numerous interviews and press conferences at which the actor often laughs.

Dmitry is married to the ex-member of the Slivki group Alla Martynyuk. Dmitry and Alla met while still a student, then the girl was in her first year, and Surzhikov was already in her third. Initially, mutual sympathy did not flare up before the future artists, they were little known: then Alla left to conquer Moscow, and Dmitry stayed to work in Kiev.

Alla's life in Moscow did not work out, and after 6 years of staying in the capital of Russia, she left for Kiev in order to finish her studies at the institute. There, a meeting took place that changed the fate of the actors: Martynyuk saw Surzhikov on the stage, and later interviewed him.

Then the lovers realized that they fit together. According to Dmitry, the family inspires him to new creative heights. Dmitry and Alla are raising three children: Polina, Alla's daughter from her first husband, Alexandra and Emilia.

Dmitry is not registered on the Instagram social network, but photos of girls are found on the official page of his wife. At the moment it is not known whether Surzhikov and Martynyuk continue to live together: the ex-participant of "Cream" does not post joint photos with her husband, another young man appears in the pictures with the girl.
