Biography

Dmitry Rogozin is a successful Russian politician and diplomat who served as Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation until May 2018. Until 2012, he was Russia's representative to NATO. He oversaw maritime policy, the military-industrial complex, national defense, rocket-space and nuclear, aviation, shipbuilding, radio-electronic industries and export control, civil defense, military-technical cooperation, the Arctic and border policy. Since May 2018 Dmitry Olegovich has been the head of Roscosmos.

Rogozin Dmitry Olegovich was born on December 21, 1963 in Moscow in an aristocratic family. The boy's father, Oleg Konstantinovich, was a military lieutenant general holding high-ranking positions. He was the head of the department of advanced weapons systems and the first deputy head of the armaments of the USSR Ministry of Defense. Mother Tamara Vasilievna worked as a dentist at the Moscow Medical Institute.

Young Dmitry turned out to be the only child of his parents, who paid utmost attention to raising their son. The boy was sent to study at a specialized school, where he studied French in depth and showed significant success. In addition to the basic sciences and languages, the future politician and diplomat was actively involved in sports, and in high school he mastered the basics of journalism at the School of Young Journalists at Moscow State University.

In 1981, after graduating from high school, Rogozin entered the International Faculty of Journalism at Moscow State University, which he graduated with honors in 1986, having defended two theses for the first time in the history of the university. Having received the diploma of "international journalist", the future politician continued his studies at the University of Marxism-Leninism under the city committee of the CPSU, which he graduated with honors in 1988 and received a degree in economics.

Career

Immediately after graduation, the future diplomat headed the international sector in the USSR Committee of Youth Organizations. Just a few years later, he became the first vice-president of the organization "RAU-Corporation", and soon headed the Association of young political leaders of the USSR "Forum-90".

During the events of the August 1991 putsch in Moscow, he was an activist in events organized in defense of the ex-President of Russia Boris Yeltsin. In 1992, Rogozin created an inter-party structure called the Union for the Renaissance of Russia, in which he united Christian Democrats, Cadets and Social Democrats. In the spring of 1993, he headed the patriotic movement "Congress of Russian Communities" he created, which included almost all Russian communities and communities of the CIS and Baltic countries, centers of national autonomies and socio-political organizations of the Russian Federation and some foreign countries.

In subsequent years, Rogozin defended the rights of compatriots in the CIS countries, Yugoslavia, the Baltic states, took part in events to free hostages in the theater on Dubrovka, in Chechnya and Beslan, when a tragic terrorist act was committed in one of the city's schools.

In 1995, Dmitry Olegovich, as part of the KRO, at the election of deputies to the State Duma, according to the results of voting, did not overcome the necessary barrier of the collected votes and did not become a deputy of the State Duma. Two years later, Rogozin managed to become a member of the State Duma, he became a member of the deputy group "Russian Regions" and was elected deputy chairman of the Committee on Nationalities, whose functions were to solve the problems of the Russian population in the North Caucasus.

In 1998-1999, Dmitry Olegovich was a member of the State Duma Commission on the impeachment of ex-President of the Russian Federation Boris Yeltsin, and after the next elections he again became a deputy, but since the KRO bloc did not overcome the electoral barrier that allows him to enter the State Duma, he moved to the group “People's Deputy ". At the same time Rogozin headed the Committee on International Affairs and the delegation of the Federation Council to PACE.

From 2002 to 2003, Dmitry Olegovich was responsible for negotiations with the EU and the Republic of Lithuania. Then he managed to achieve success and to simplify the visa-free procedure for the movement of Russians through Lithuania. But in 2004, Rogozin was removed from his post due to the transfer of the solution to this issue to the Russian Foreign Ministry.

In 2003, the deputy left the NPRF and joined the ranks of United Russia, commenting on his decision by the need to create one political party supporting the President of the Russian Federation. In the same year, Rogozin was elected co-chairman of the Supreme Council of the Rodina bloc, from which, with a record 79% of the vote, went to the State Duma and became deputy chairman.

In 2005, on the eve of the City Duma elections, Dmitry Rogozin became a key figure in a high-profile scandal. Scandalous notoriety was brought to the deputy by the video "Let's clear Moscow of garbage", for which Rogozin was accused of xenophobia and extremism. Having fallen under the information boycott, the Rodina party lost its registration in all regional parliaments of the Russian Federation and became an object of pressure. For the sake of preserving the party, Dmitry Rogozin vacated the post of head of Rodina and returned to the Congress of Russian Communities that he created, which he soon headed.

In 2008, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Rogozin was appointed Russia's Permanent Representative to NATO, where he skillfully proved himself and earned the highest diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

In 2011, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev appointed Dmitry Olegovich to the post of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. A few months after taking office, Rogozin created a volunteer movement of the All-Russian Popular Front in support of the military-industrial complex of Russia, the army and navy of the Russian Federation.

In 2012, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation was relieved of his post as Russia's representative to NATO, but he retained the post of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation even after Putin was elected President.

Against the background of the situation in Ukraine, Western media were confident that Dmitry Rogozin was the main hawk of Russian foreign policy. In 2014, Rogozin, like many Russian and Ukrainian politicians, was blacklisted by the United States. He was also banned from entering the EU countries, Canada, Australia and Switzerland. At the same time, the arrest of Dmitry Olegovich's property on the territory of these countries was announced, but Rogozin assured that he did not have real estate and accounts outside the Russian Federation.

At the same time, Alexey Rogozin is actively involved in business - in 2012, the young man was appointed general director of the state-owned enterprise "Aleksinsky Chemical Plant", which produces gunpowder, rubber products and polymer coatings. Rogozin's only son made his father a grandfather three times already, giving two grandchildren Fyodor and Artyom (born in 2005 and 2013) and a granddaughter Maria, born in 2008.

Rogozin also shared that he wrote an essay on the way to Baikonur. And the music was invented by the composer Andrey Ktitarev.

This is not the first song of the figure. Peru Dmitry Rogozin owns the compositions "Transnistria, you and I are of the same blood!", "Fried ram", "Dyatlov pass", "I fly over Russia", "White city" and others.

In April 2018, Rogozin posted a meme on Twitter, which he dedicated to Estonian Foreign Minister Sven Mikser. This recording was a response to a statement by Mixer, which he gave in an interview. Sven said that Russia is actively involved in the armed conflict in Ukraine, so Estonia should build relations with the Russian state "based on a position of strength, unity and determination."

fact

Dmitry Rogozin now

In August 2017, the surname of Dmitry Olegovich was added to another list of persona non grata. For example, the Moldovan authorities approved Rogozin's candidacy as a "non-entry" one in their country. This decision was made due to the fact that the politician is a "sanctions person" in the EU. A little earlier, for this reason, a plane was not allowed into Romania, in which the activist and another 164 passengers were flying.

Then Dmitry Rogozin called the situation "wild and provocative." The man said that he had coordinated the route of the flight with the Moldovan authorities.

In December of the same year, another scandalous moment appeared in the biography of the Deputy Prime Minister. Ksenia Sobchak, a presidential candidate, announced that she would submit an application to the prosecutor's office against Dmitry Rogozin. The woman was outraged by the incident when the politician showed the President of Serbia the latest Russian development - an oxygen-containing liquid, thanks to which you can breathe under water.

The video footage of the experiment shows how laboratory staff, in the presence of officials, put a resisting dog under the water and kept it there until it got used to it and began to breathe. Ksenia said that this cruel sight is not for the faint of heart. The organizers of the experiment themselves shared that the animal was not injured.

On May 18, 2018, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev presented a new list of the Cabinet of Ministers to the President of the country, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. As the experts assumed, the name of Dmitry Rogozin was not among them. Instead, Yuri Borisov became Deputy Prime Minister of the Industrial and Defense Mission.

The fact that Rogozin was leaving the post of Deputy Prime Minister was immediately clear. This is due to a series of failures. First, Dmitry Olegovich did not cope with the construction of the Vostochny cosmodrome on schedule. Secondly, he was also blamed for the failure to launch satellites into orbit.

The politician accepted his resignation and soon received a new appointment as the head of Roscosmos. Earlier it was reported that on the initiative of the new head, the state corporation will become a rocket and space holding in the future.
