Having become the best graduate of the course, Dmitry remained at the department of a higher educational institution and in 1998 became a member of the regional branch of the Association of Pediatric Surgeons of Russia. After his residency, Morozov defended his dissertation and received a doctorate in medicine from one of the largest universities in the country - the Pirogov University.

Subsequently, the biography of Morozov turned out to be inextricably linked with medicine. From 2003 to 2012, the doctor held the post of head of the department of pediatric surgery at his home university and ran an experimental clinic equipped with the latest technology. At the same time, the specialist was awarded the first prize "Vocation" for carrying out an unprecedented operation that saved a person's life.

Being engaged in research, Dmitry soon became vice-rector of the university for science and joined the international association EUPSA. Morozov combined his medical practice with speaking at European conferences and writing monographs and teaching aids.

In the Russian surgical organization, the pediatrician soon became the chairman of the Saratov department, and the career of the vice-rector was replaced by the position of director of one of the research institutes.

In 2012, the leadership of the Volga Federal District appreciated the merits of the young doctor and appointed him chief specialist in pediatric surgery of regional significance. And after moving to Moscow, Morozov became deputy director of the Scientific Research Institute of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery and head of the department at the Ivan Sechenov University.
