Firstly, coach Sergei Polstyanov began to introduce him to joint classes with the youth team, for which Barinov made his debut in the spring, replacing Nikita Salamatov 16 minutes before the end of the meeting with rivals from Krasnodar. Secondly, he got into the youth team of Russia in friendly matches, then the official ones followed and the victory at the European Championship with the participation of players under 17 years old.
