Hi, I'm 17 years old and I'm a girl. A year and 2-3 months ago, a scan revealed that I had a disc herniation. One very large and 2-3 small. I also went for an MRI and he confirmed the diagnosis. No doctor can tell me where this disc herniation came from, but in my opinion it is because before, and even now I have even more low self-esteem, according to my relatives there is no reason for me to have low self-esteem, but it is still . Maybe it's just age. And I think because of that low self-esteem, I started walking very crooked-head down (like a turtle), which (maybe) led to this condition, because I think a herniated disc is not a disease, but a condition. With this diagnosis, my life has changed a lot - I am now free from physical, I can not run, jump, etc. Separately, when I walk unconsciously sparing my waist by limping. Which affected my self-esteem a lot. For almost a year and a half, my back has been hurting every day. The waist and the left leg. Sometimes my left leg even tingles. I recently went to a neurologist who (surprisingly for me) told me I was not a neurosurgeon. I go to warm-ups twice a month for about half a year. I try to do exercises, yoga and others, but I don't do them regularly because I don't have much time. I am quite pessimistic about the option of surgery. I have heard of ozone therapy and sanatoriums that have helped many people. If someone can explain to me that I am not an adult, can I go to Pavel Banya, for example. I know that swimming is also good for people with herniated discs. But somehow I have no desire to swim. You can criticize me for that, but I just don't have anyone to go with, and I'm not a very good swimmer. So if you can recommend me another sport that is suitable for me. I also want to ask if it is appropriate to go to the gym. I will not lift weights, but only on some waist-sparing devices. Because of these pains, I only sit at home and hardly go out, which I know is not right. But I am very uncomfortable with people watching me walk when the pain is severe. Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I am asking for your advice and I would be happy if someone shared how he got rid of this pain. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
