At the age of 9, the girl was transferred to a specialized program so that she could go to any youth tournament. Then the mentors discovered developmental problems in the Averin sisters, and endless medical examinations almost knocked down the mood and orientation.

Fortunately, her health turned out to be normal, and Dina, thanks to a special diet, reached a height of 164 cm with a stable weight of 45 kg. The girl looked elegant in a swimsuit embroidered with sequins, but a fragile figure would have caused horror among dads and moms unrelated to sports.

In the fall of 2011, the athlete moved to a new level and began training at the Novogorsk training center. And after the first serious competition, Averina was taken to the School of the Olympic Reserve, and she left her hometown of the Volga region, saying goodbye to her youth.

Now Averina is not ready to think about her personal life, because all the available time is occupied by family and sports. The girl spends her vacation with her family, who are looking forward to her at home and sometimes go with the champion to rest at a seaside resort.

At the 2017 World Games held in Poland, Averina proved that rhythmic gymnastics is the queen of sports disciplines. Having won in the exercise with clubs and taking silver in other types of the program, she suddenly became the idol of hundreds of women and men.

At the World Championships in Sofia, Dina, as part of the Russian national team, became the absolute record holder, collecting 100% of the awards. Thus, the team exceeded all the expectations of coaches and fans, and its new leader had no way back.
