Hello, I notice that I have started to develop anxiety in situations where I have no control. I'm generally an anxious person, but I haven't even had a panic attack in such situations. For example: I get a panic attack if I ride an intercity bus, but not if I personally drive a car on the same route. Another example: they take my blood for testing and I have to watch what happens, even though my sister told me not to watch (I don't know why she decided to forbid me to watch, provided I've watched before, it seemed to increase my anxiety, because I was scared that they would do something to me who knows what). In general, I have anxiety and panic in situations where I have no control, but the hardest part is not knowing what is happening (so as a dentist I ask what happens all the time, although I realize that this is quite annoying for the dentist, then I apologize and so on ... and while flying I have to constantly monitor where the plane is, at what altitude, etc. ). I don't trust other people and machines, it seems, that is, everything that does not depend directly on me. The thing is, it burdens me too much, I want to get rid of that anxiety. So my question is, has anyone else had such anxiety and managed to cope?

I think you have a mild form of neurosis. I don't know if it's a panic attack or if you want to control it. Interestingly, I myself like to control exactly the situations you describe - I always watch when they take my blood, I don't let a dentist give me anesthesia to feel what they are doing and when I fly I often look where we are, but honestly I don't some panic if I lose control. These are all unpleasant situations. I don't think your problem is big, but catch up and see a psychologist. I think you will overcome your problem quickly. Good luck
