Daniil Olegovich Trifonov was born on March 5, 1991 in Nizhny Novgorod. The life of at least three generations of his ancestors is closely associated with music. By carefully planning his working day, Daniel sometimes finds time to rest. He prefers to spend his free hours with friends in nature or in the silence of museums. Painting plays the role of a source of inspiration in the composer's work. Pictures by Vrubel, Kandinsky, Serov, Rembrandt, El Greco fill him with energy. The musician transforms emotions into a harmonious stream of sounds.

2018 added another achievement to the celebrity's piggy bank. This is the US Recording Academy Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Solo. The jury awarded Daniil Trifonov for the album Transcendental. The disc with etudes by Franz Liszt, recorded in 2016, has already received a prestigious award in 2017: the ECHO Klassik prize (for the best solo recording of piano music written in the 19th century).
