Despite numerous problems associated with illegal emigration, Danai Jekesai Gurire (this is the full name of the actress) managed to get a secondary education in Grinnell, and then enter New York University.

At the helm of the project was Frank Darabont, who has earned fame for his successful film adaptations of Stephen King's works.

Danaë was cast in the series alongside Andrew Lincoln, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Christian Serratos, Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohen, and Punisher star John Bernthal.
