Since 2012, the Moscow group “Cream Soda” has been delighting fans of electronic music with its non-standard creativity. Over the course of their existence, the guys have experimented more than once with the sound, the directions of the old and new schools. But their most striking self-expression was the style of ethno-house, which was accepted and loved by hundreds of thousands of music lovers.

The founders of the group are Dima Nova and Ilya Gadaev. Dima from Yaroslavl, Ilya from Orekhovo-Zuevo. Each of them at one time became interested in electronic music, began to write tracks and post them on the Promo DJs website. Here their meeting took place in 2008.

The acquaintance began on the basis of a hobby for dubstep, drum and bass. The guys began to jointly experiment with melodies and tracks, compose, play, and perform in clubs. However, at some point, having seen enough of the marginal audience, which more and more filled the dance floor at their performances, the performers decided to change genre guidelines - to move away from heavy, aggressive music towards a lighter style.

The first track written, which the musicians themselves called "near-dabstep" with elements of disco, was liked by both them and the critics. The guys did not think about any kind of commerce then, they did everything from pure creative enthusiasm. And after the decision to make music at a serious level, the official birth of the group "Cream Soda" took place in 2012.

Later, Anna Romanovskaya (Anna Rome), who became the frontwoman of the team and a permanent member of the team, joined the guys.

Already in 2013, the group's tracks were included in the rotation of the Megapolis FM radio station. The first mini-disc (EP) released in 2014 became a kind of musical warm-up for the participants.

But in 2016, the trio seriously declares their creativity, releasing their debut album "Fire" on the label "Electronica Records". The disc, which includes 19 songs, became a real discovery for house fans, for a long time stayed in the top of iTunes and became one of the best-selling in electronic music stores.

Recognized colleagues in the music scene, Jimmy Edgar, Wase & Odissey, TEED, Detroit Swindle and others, also sang praises to the creativity of "Cream Soda". The members of the group express special gratitude to the Ukrainian performer Ivan Dorn, who appreciated their work and offered cooperation on their own label "Masterskaya".

Inspired, Ilya, Dima and Anya began work on the new record "Beautiful". To concentrate to the maximum, young people leave the noisy capital: Dima takes his friends to a country house in the little-known town of Dievo-Gorodishche near Yaroslavl. There, in a wooden mansion, among incredible pristine nature and deafening silence, 11 songs of the new studio disc were recorded.

The album was released in the spring of 2018. As the artists themselves wrote in the release, it turned out to be very versatile, and although it is designed in a "house" style, it is replete with all kinds of styles - from funk and R&B to pop and hip-hop. And yet - in this disc, unlike the previous one, Muscovites focused on Russian-language texts, which also pleased Russian music lovers.

The recording also featured collaborations with other artists. Thus, the hip-hop song "On the Takeoff" was recorded together with artists Laud and Thomas Mraz. The vocal of the soloist Ani Rome was revealed in the album in all its originality: from the gentle lyrical in the song "Go away, but stay" to the daring and perky in the composition "Headshot".

By the way, the group released a video for “Headshot” one of the first. The video is directed in the style of an ironic horror thriller with red sparkles instead of blood. The main characters of the plot are a guy and his soul mate, a mirror disco ball.

Almost simultaneously with the release of the album, a video for his title song “Beautiful” was presented. The composition is accompanied by a gloomy video, in which a lady in red robes walks across a snow-white plain, followed by a funeral procession, the clip symbolically demonstrates the funeral of a past love.

In support of the new disc, the musicians went on a tour called "Beautifully Live Tour". The main points on the route were St. Petersburg, Yaroslavl, Moscow, Kiev, Odessa, Tallinn and other locations. Unforgettable concerts with live sound and incendiary dances were held in every city, the fans were delighted.

In the summer of 2018, the “Cream Soda” collective presented the single “Volga” with a pronounced ethno-sound of Russian song folklore. A bright, cheerful video was filmed in the vastness of Russian nature.

On December 5, 2018, a new video of the group was released for the hit song "Go away, but stay", in which the popular showman and TV presenter Alexander Gudkov starred. According to the artists, it was not even a clip that turned out, but a mini-film about love, romance and the complexity of relationships.

The trio of musicians are currently working on their third studio album for a spring 2019 release. In parallel with the recording, the guys tour a lot in the cities of Russia.
