Hello. About a month ago, after many attempts to fight acne, I was advised to buy Acne Out (lotion). I bought it, took some Garnier products, one of which is for facial massage, and the massage on my facial skin works very well. Except these things didn't help. They helped to remove the smallest pimples, but I still get pimples most often around my lips and forehead. I went to the pharmacy and asked them to offer me something for acne - the first thing was Acne Out. I said it didn't work, and the girl in front of me began to wonder what to offer me, because Acne Out was one of the strongest. He offered me Zinerit, but it turned out they were done. He gave me some tablets and salicylic alcohol (I think it was) and told me that when they dissolve it turns out the same as Zinerit, he even told me to put 2 more tablets, to become a little stronger. She had told me before that I could also try birth control pills, but a doctor would tell me if it would be for my type of acne - if it was more severe. I wondered - contraceptives against acne I hadn't heard before. Has anyone here tried? And contraceptives, as far as I know, are not very good for the ovaries to take, plus I'm a 15-year-old girl. If this Zinerit does not help I will go to a specialist, but has anyone heard of this contraceptive treatment and does it work? Because if I go to a specialist to know. Thanks in advance :) Has anyone here tried? And contraceptives, as far as I know, are not very good for the ovaries to take, plus I'm a 15-year-old girl. Rather, the question is correct - acne pills, birth control pills? Modern third-generation contraceptives are actually pills developed as a cure for acne. I do not know who told you that contraceptives were harmful to the ovaries, but this is not the case, and vice versa - they protect against ovarian and uterine cancer due to the reduced number of ovulations. However, they have other risks - the biggest is the risk of thrombosis for women who smoke and do not drink enough fluids. It is not filled by the new "mini" contraceptives, they do not increase the risk of breast cancer and so on, but they are on a completely different principle now, but there is a risk of thrombosis. They cure acne very quickly if you are interested, and Zinerit is prescribed by a doctor, by the way, because there is an antibiotic in it ... You decide
