You can't try to please someone by force. I know it from personal experience. X can't like you forcibly, you can't do ANYTHING. And it's easiest to push a boy away, but why? Stay friends, don't argue. It just pretends that you don't pay attention to the hints he makes to you. And if G asks you in plain text if you like him, just tell him you like him as a friend, but that's it. Don't tell him you like X.
