Hello! I've had a big problem for a few months now. I've never had it before and I haven't felt what it is, but now I know how disgusting it is, and it's the bad breath. I have no problems with my teeth, and the problem is that I have a white plaque on my tongue, mainly at the base. I have been trying all sorts of ointments, gargles and medicines for a long time to try to remove it and it still doesn't work. Is there any effective remedy against this, because I have heard that fungi in the mouth, and more precisely on the tongue, are the most difficult to remove and require a lot of time for treatment, because I think these 5/6 months are enough. I'm 16, and at this age you don't want to have such a problem. Thanks!

These are not fungi. A white, grayish-white deposit at the base of the tongue indicates a problem with the gut and especially the colon. Bad breath can be from there, it can be from the teeth, it can be from the stomach. So first to the dentist.
