Clementine Celarié

Myriem Célarié, known by the artist's first name of Clémentine, is the daughter of journalist André Célarié. With her baccalaureate in hand, she spent a year in the United States and on her return, she took theater, singing and dance lessons. After failing at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art, she joins a group of musical friends who perform jazz in the street. She sings in public for the first time in the cellars of Zaragoza, Spain. Returning from her trip, she plays at "Splendid" café-theater and on the radio. At Radio 7, where she interviews actors, then at France-Inter, she co-hosts programs with Francois Jouffa ("Disque d'Or") or Julien Delli Fiori ("Jazz on all floors").

She made her film debut in 1983 in Boy! by Claude Sautet, with Yves Montand and Nicole Garcia. She then continued with many supporting roles, we see her as a resistant mother in Blanche et Marie (1984), invasive girlfriend in Les Nanas (1985) or even as a nymphomaniac mistress by Claude Brasseur in La Gitane (1986) by Philippe de Broca.

In 1986, she worked with Jean-Jacques Beineix and broke her image as an actress with light roles to play a frustrated wife in 37 ° 2 in the morning. With La Femme secrète (1986), she played a role in the length for the first time. In 1992, Indian Nocturne with Jean-Hugues Anglade, earned her the nomination for the César for Best Supporting Actor. She then turns in Les Nuits fauves (1992) by Cyril Collard, then she is Isabelle Adjani's best friend in Toxic Affair (1993), before interpreting a whole series of films calibrated for the general public such as La Vengeance d'une blonde (1994), Les Braqueuses (1994), or even Les Soeurs Soleil (1997).

Clémentine Célarié's career is also written on television and in the theater. She plays for the small screen in many TV films such as The Woman of a Single Man (1998), The Water Mirror (2004) or The Children of Orion (2008) and triumphs on the stage with the title role of the piece Madame sans gêne (2002) before diverting the title of this last piece and turning it into a one-woman show entitled Madame sans Chaîne , which she wrote and performed herself.

Despite all her activities, Clémentine Célarié nevertheless finds a little time for the cinema. We thus find it in productions (always for the general public) such as Reines d'un jour (2001), Mauvais esprit (2003) or recently alongside François Berléand in Pascal Laëthier's film: La Difference, c'est que c is not the same (2009). After having played the police commissioner Nicole Mercier in the series Les Bleus: First steps in the police, the actress is chosen for the title role in the telefilm Marthe Richard (TV). In 2011, she changed register by assuming the role of alcoholic mother in Les Adoptés, the first film directed by actress Mélanie Laurent.
